Melissa Desiree Trowbridge, age 44, of Dallas, Texas, passed away April 28, 2021.  Melissa was born June 6, 1976, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Alton Dwayne Trowbridge and Debra Sue (Shoemaker) Young. 

She is survived by her mother, Debbie Young of Little Elm, Texas; father, Alton Trowbridge and wife, Rulea of The Colony, Texas; grandmother, Sue Shoemaker of Garland, Texas; sisters, Jennifer Birchfield and husband, Scott of Macon, Georgia, and Susan Trowbridge and husband, Michael Leslie of Little Elm; brother, Kevin Trowbridge and wife, Sydnee of Guthrie, Oklahoma; nephew, Walker Ellis Trowbridge; niece, Wren Trowbridge; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her Pepa, Delbert Shoemaker, aunt, Teresa Joy, step-father, Michael Young, and grandparents, A. C. Trowbridge and Vera Trowbridge.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Monday, May 3, 2021, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, Texas, 75033.  The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service on Monday at Berkshire Chapel. Interment will follow the funeral service at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco.
