Melba Jo Wolf of Clifton, Texas formerly of McKinney, Texas passed away September 11, 2022 at the age of 91.  She was born on November 29, 1930 to Alvie Lee Burnside and Benita (Neil) Burnside in Princeton, Texas.  Melba married Eathen Ray Wolf on August 31, 1946 and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage before his passing in 2002.  She was devoted to caring for her family and loved cooking for her children and grandchildren.  Melba also had an enthusiasm for life and had her first motorcycle ride when she was 89.  Melba was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  Melba will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by sons, Howard Ray Wolf of McKinney, Texas, Darrell Glen Wolf and wife, Tammy of McKinney, Texas, and Timothy Joe Wolf of Peoria, Illinois; daughter, Judy Gail Wolf Carter and husband Terry of LOCATION; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Melba was preceded in death by her husband, Eathen Wolf, parents, Alvie and Benita Burnside; sisters, Evelina Sartain, Venel Webster, and Bobbie French; brothers, Billy Ray Burnside and Harlon Royce Burnside; and granddaughter, Kimberly Pressnell Fair.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Melba’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/melba-jo-wolf.  After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.  Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.

The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
