Melba Jean (Coaly) Daniels of Oklahoma City, passed peacefully surrounded by the love and support of family in Frisco, Texas, one day shy of her 95th birthday on October 25, 2023.
Melba was born and raised in Ringling, OK and was a 1946 graduate of Ringling High School. After graduation, she attended Draughon School of Business in Oklahoma City and worked at American Cyanamid in their fertilizer division for many years.

In early 1956, Melba went on a blind date where she met Noble Daniels. The two hit it off, and they married later that spring on March 30 and went on to have two children together.
Melba was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and had many interests, including camping and fishing with her family in Lake Eufaula, OK. She will be remembered for her love of all sports, her proclivity for Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and crossword puzzles, her talents in the kitchen, her patience, and most importantly, the love she had for her family.
Melba is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Vern) Juel; granddaughters Crystal (Luke) Crawford and Kimberley (Kaleb) Reese; great-grandson, Connor; and brother-in-law, Billie Joe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Annie Coaly; brothers, Adrian, Lloyd, Joy D. Coaly; her husband of 63 years, Noble; son, Bruce; and sister-in-law, Aljnita.
Following Melba's wishes, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, Melba's family requests that donations be made the World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA.
