Mei Hwa Lin of Plano, Texas passed away June 3, 2022 at the age of 90. She was born on July 29, 1931 to Dr. Huang and Mrs. Sook Shing Su in Zhang Zhou, China. Mei grew up in China and moved to Hong Kong where she finished high school and graduated from college. She was a teacher of elementary education for many years. Mei married Timothy Mow Chung Lin on August 27, 1958 in Hong Kong and they have enjoyed nearly 64 years of marriage. After she married, Mei became a faithful preacher’s wife and served the Lord with all her heart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mei will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Timothy Lin of Plano, Texas; children, Nelson Lin and wife, Margaret of Richardson, Texas, Jireh Lin and wife, Ann of Plano, Texas, and Janet Lin of Foster City, California; grandchildren, Caleb, Jonathan, Rebecca, Emily, and Janel; six great-grandchildren; brother, Isaac Huang of Illinois; and a host of other living family and friends.
Mei was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, James Lin; and numerous brothers and sisters.
A private family only funeral service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
