Megan Nelon, age 24, of Plano, Texas, passed away May 30, 2017. Megan was born September 21, 1992, in Dallas, Texas, to Kenneth Nelon and Tammy Cross. She graduated from Plano East Senior High School in 2011. As a young child, she loved to play softball. Megan attended Collin County Community College for several years. She was a lover of history and aspired to become a history professor one day. Megan was a big fan of Elvis Presley. She enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar. Megan was an animal lover.
She is survived by her wife, Erin Morrison of Dallas, Texas; mother, Tammy Cross of Plano, Texas; father, Kenneth Nelon and wife, Nora of Telephone, Texas; brother, Rodney Cross and wife, Agnes of Tuscon, Arizona; grandparents, Charles and Barbara Cross of Forney, Texas, and Bill and Carol Nelon of Crowley, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
