Mayumi Ellis

June 26, 1935 - January 10, 2020

Mayumi Ellis of Allen, Texas passed away on January 10, 2020 at the age of 84.  She was born on June 26, 1935 to Yoshioi and Shizue Imao in Gifu, Japan.  Mayumi married Thomas Patrick Ellis, III on November 4, 1957 in Nagoya, Japan.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. 

Mayumi is survived by her children, Tracy Ellis and wife, Ann of Damascus, Maryland; Tina Ellis of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Timothy Ellis and wife, Gina of Lucas, Texas; and Teri Ellis Schmidt and husband, Thomas of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel, Rachel, Ryley, William, Forrest, Reagan, Kenji, Tuscani and Tennyson; brother, Keiichi Imao of Nagoya, Japan; and nieces, Hitomi and Masami.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Patrick Ellis, III; parents and  sister, Kayoko Imao.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
