Denice Burnside Webb, February 2, 2009 We came to know Miss Mattie when she worked for us as a nanny, when Marcia was ill. It was a difficult illness, and hard to understand. It was easy to become attached to Miss Mattie. Thankfully Marcia got better, but it was hard to see Mattie move on, when Marcia was able to care for the children on her on. Marcia will always have a special place in her heart for the kindness Miss Mattie showed her at that time.
