Maddie Keller, November 30, 2021 My daughter was a classmate and group mate of Matthew’s this year at Tech and just spoke to Matthew a few days ago before students went away to Thanksgiving break. She is just devastated at this news, as she became friends with him over the course of the semester working together every week in class, and liked him very much. As a parent I am completely heartbroken for your loss and hurt and pain. We are both so so very sorry for Matthew and for all of you. Our tears and grief are but a shadow compared to your hurt, and I can only pray that every good memory you had with him will flood you over and over and over and that the warmth of those cherished times will provide just a little comfort to have shared it with him in this life, and that embers of hope for seeing him in the next life will glow brightly until Christ’s return.
