Mateo Maximiliano Cornejo, age 5, of Little Elm, Texas went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on November 5, 2019, to Yaneli Zamora and Manuel Alejandro Cornejo in Plano, Texas. Mateo enjoyed playing with his siblings and Mario Brothers, especially Luigi. He loved the movie Cars, particularly the famous Lightning McQueen. He was a parishioner of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco.
Mateo is survived by his loving parents, Yaneli Zamora and Manuel Alejandro Cornejo of Little Elm, Texas; his brother, Alexander Cornejo; his sister, Katherine Cornejo; his grandparents, Maria Isabel Zamora, Jesus Zamora, and Eva Garcia.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, from 6:00 Pm to 8:00 PM with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033.
