Mary Kay Calfee-Drye, also known as “Ms. Mary”, of Frisco, Texas passed away April 1, 2017, at the age of 77. She was born January 12, 1940, to Everett Calfee and Gladys Stagner in Itasca, Texas. Mary Kay earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas. She was an accountant for ExxonMobil for roughly twenty years. After her retirement, she spent most of her time volunteering and working for The Salvation Army, as well as serving in several other ministries. Mary Kay was a devout Christian.
Mary Kay is survived by her daughter, Jodie Price and husband James of Frisco, Texas; her most beloved granddaughter, Harper Price also of Frisco; and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Gladys Calfee and brothers, B.J. Calfee and James Calfee.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A private inurnment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas at a later date.
