Maryellen Link

February 20, 1943 - January 1, 1900

Maryellen Link of Fairview, Texas passed away on December 4, 2018.  She was born on February 20, 1943 to Harry and Mary Ellen (Conner) Chase in San Diego, California.  Maryellen received a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Maryellen was the first female executive at Prentice Hall Publishing Company and was a part of the Beta Pi Chapter of American Association of University Women.  She married Lawrence Carl Link on June 18, 1966 at the First Presbyterian Church of Englewood in Englewood, New Jersey.  Maryellen was very involved at Custer Road United Methodist Church in the Pathfinders Sunday School Class until she passed.  She was also very active in the Heritage Ranch Community and made many friends that will miss her dearly.

Maryellen is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Price and husband, Kevin of Portland, Oregon; sister, Ali Chase of Plano, Texas; nephew, Chase Macleod and wife, Melissa of Orange County, California; grandson, Aiden Noah Price of Portland Oregon; great nephew and nieces, Connor, Collins, and Chayse of Orange County, California; dearest best friend, Susan Condos of Tucson, Arizona; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; daughter, Jessica; and parents.
