MaryEllen Denlinger

Mrs. MaryEllen Denlinger, age 77, of Allen, Texas passed away on December 28, 2003 at her home. She was born on March 13, 1926 to Charles Raymond and Mary Margaret (Croghan) Riber in Dayton, Ohio. On April 19, 1947, she married Robert E. Denlinger in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1944 and played the coronet in the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. She worked as a teller for Citizens Federal Savings & Loan and retired from Bank One in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Allen, Texas. She is survived by her sons, Gary R. Denlinger and wife, Margaret McCollum of Plano, Texas and Ronald L. Denlinger and wife, Jane of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; daughter, Karen Liberio of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Douglas, Adam, Scott and Chad Denlinger, Julie Odoms, Beth Stinson, Matt and Kimberly Liberio; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Double and her husband, Albert of Longwood, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Denlinger; parents, Ray and Margaret Riber; brother, Charles Raymond Riber, II; great grandchild, Sean Denlinger. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 3, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church in Allen with Rev. Brian McPherson and Rev. Milton Guttierrez officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held Saturday at 1:00 PM, at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 601 S. Greenville Ave, Allen, Texas 75002.
