Mary A. Lewis

November 1, 1934 - January 1, 2021

Mary A. Lewis (Memom) of Sherman, Texas passed away January 1, 2021 at the age of 86.  She was born on November 1, 1934 to Bill and Aline (Ramsey) Jenkins in Bloomdale, Texas.  She married her high school sweetheart, Bob Lewis, on March 12, 1951.  She was a member of Gathering Time Cabin Ministry in Ivanhoe, Texas.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Debbie Edge and husband, Randy of Talco, Texas, Mariglyn Williams and husband, Glenn of Ivanhoe, Texas; grandchildren, Cody Self of Tira, Texas, Rowdy Williams and wife, Robin of Ivanhoe, Texas, Joe Bob Self and wife, Sherry of Sulpher Bluff, Texas; great grandchildren, Ty Self, Bo Self, Sage Williams, Jeremiah Williams, Taylor Self, Karlie Self; siblings, Una Forley and Billie Bryant; a host of nieces and nephews; friends and workers at Brookdale and a very special friend, Lee Ann whom she loved helping especially playing Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years; grandson, Steve Williams; great granddaughter, Tannia Self; and 5 brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.

Debbie, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that God will wrap you in his arms and comfort you with his love. You were there when we lost Momma and Daddy. I wish I could be there for you.
