Mary Lee Glover of Anna, Texas, formerly a long-time resident of McKinney, Texas, passed away on October 22, 2020 at the age of 79. She was born on November 13, 1940 to Odis Tallant and Mary Helen (Drake) Tallant in McKinney, Texas. Mary Lee married Vernon W. “Bud” Glover on June 30, 1962 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She worked as the personal secretary for Mr. Veigel at Boyd-Veigel-Gay Law Offices for many years until she had children and became a homemaker. Mary Lee was a member of the High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney, Texas.

Mary Lee is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Harris of Emory, Texas; son, Adam Glover and wife, Misty of Anna, Texas; grandson, Chance Glover and wife, Jenna of Sherman, Texas; granddaughter, Alorah Glover of Anna, Texas; great-grandchildren, Logan and Lily of Sherman, Texas; brother, Bill Tallant and wife, Shirley of Lake Tawakoni, Texas and numerous friends and famiy

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon W. “Bud” Glover; son, Jeff Glover; sister, Jeanie Herald; and grandchildren, Cheyanne Davis and Dakota Davis.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday October 28, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Mary Lee’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: Celebrationoflife.tv. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Mary Lee and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

A private committal, for Mary Lee’s family only, will follow the funeral service at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
