Mary Ann Stubbe, age 73, of Richardson, Texas, passed away December 20, 2009. She was born on August 26, 1936 in Houston, Texas, to George Frank and Pearl Vivian (Ayers) Vaught. She married her husband, Joseph Stubbe, on July 20, 1963. Mary Ann grew up in Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University. She worked as an elementary school teacher in various places including the Philippines, Japan, California, New Mexico, and Texas. Mary Ann attended First United Methodist Church in Richardson, Texas, where she sang in the choir, for thirty years. She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Mary Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, teacher, and friend. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Joe Stubbe; son, Jeff Stubbe and wife Amy, of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Becky Cudlipp and husband Ken, of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Nicole, Adam, Cole, and Nathan; brother, Frank David Vaught and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Frank and Pearl Vivian (Ayers) Vaught. Graveside Services were held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
