Mary Lorene Smith, age 80, of Frisco, Texas passed away September 30, 2010. She was born February 26, 1930 in Denton County, Texas to Etta Estelle (Copeland) and John Henry Calverley. On March 25, 1955, Mary married Chester Smith in Denton, Texas. Mary is survived by her children, Mary Fagan and her husband, Eddie of Valliant, Oklahoma, Johnny Jeffus and his wife, Marcia of Van Alstyne, Texas, Esther Shrum and her husband, Lloyd of Denison, Texas, Lewis Smith and his wife, Melinda of Little Elm, Texas, Opal Smith and her husband, Danny of Frisco, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Smith; son, Robert Smith; brothers, Clyde Calverley and Buster Calverley. A Funeral Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Frisco on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Alton Byrd officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the service.
