IN LOVING MEMORY

Mary Sandra "Sandy" Farrell

Feb 26 1947 - Aug 10 2021

Mary Sandra Farrell of Lucas, Texas passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 74, after a hard battle with cancer. She was born on February 26, 1947 to Edgar Poe Woodard and Mary Alice (Wilke) Woodard in Fort Worth, Texas. Sandy married the late James Edvin Bradt on June 16, 1994 in Dallas, Texas. Sandy was very grateful for her 46 years of sobriety as a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Through the program she helped countless people find direction in their lives. Beyond her own family she was a mother to all! "Mama Farrell" was what most people affectionately called her. Sandy impacted many through her passion of helping others to find their purpose in life. She did everything from coaching baseball and basketball to introducing others to the beauty of working with horses. She even founded a non-profit with the purpose of assisting high school graduates with the opportunity to attend college. Truly, she has spent her life dedicated to the love and support of all those she came across. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Sandy will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lynn Farrell and husband Joseph Norred of Lucas, Texas; sons, Kenneth Lance Farrell of Floresville, Texas, Victor Glenn Farrell and wife Casey of Lucas, Texas and Douglas Bradt and wife Jennifer of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Madison Blair Farrell, Hannah Grace Bradt, Jordan Glenn Farrell and wife Kristin, Abigail Claire Bradt, Brooks McLane Farrell, Cash James Farrell, Mary Addison Farrell, and Grace Kennedy Farrell; great-grandchild, Briana Priscilla Farrell; and a host of other loving family and friends.
