Mary Louise Price of Dallas, Texas passed away June 27, 2020 at the age of 93.  She was born on May 21, 1927 to Oscar Aught Beatty and Mary Magdalene (Armstrong) Beatty in Jasper, Texas.  Mary Louise was a graduate of Jasper-Rowe High School and she attended Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas where she majored in Education and Home Economics.  Mary Louise had a loving and dedicated career teaching the future minds of tomorrow.  After retiring from teaching, Mary Louise was an instructor in several adult G.E.D. programs. She received her master’s degree from The University of Houston and also worked on her doctorate at U of H.  Mary Louise was a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority and enjoyed all things that enhanced the mind like reading, word searches, crossword puzzles and game shows. 

She is survived by her twin daughters, Candis Yvonne Dixson and Jandis Yvette Price; grandson, Tristan Arnet Dixson, all of Dallas, Texas; loved like a son, Rev. Fabian Keith Jacko and wife Penny of DeSoto, Texas; and many other loving family members and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse B. Price; parents, Oscar Aught (Peter) and Mary Magdalene Beatty; and brother, Wilbert Raye Beatty, Sr.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held at a later date.
