Mary Louise “Lou” Meyer, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at the age of 84. She was born on November 26, 1935, in Norman Park, Georgia, to Maye Rena (Harnage) and Columbus O’Neal Register. Lou married the love of her life, Donald Albert Meyer, on July 12, 1956 in Orlando, Florida and they were blessed with two sons. She was a long time member of Altar Guilds in the Episcopal Church and an active member with the Lake Mary, Florida Women’s Club. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Lou is survived by her husband, Don Meyer; her sons, Scott Meyer and his wife, Karlyn, of Frisco, Texas, and Doug Meyer and his wife, Suzanne, of Woodbridge, Virginia; her grandchildren, Kaley Buster (Mark), Zack Meyer, Savanna Meyer and Mitchell Meyer; her great-grandchildren, Liam Buster and Eleanor Buster; her sister, Ann Avera and her sister-in-law, Sue Register as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Jake Meyer; her brothers, Don and Bob Register, and sister, Becky Register.
The Memorial Service at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 6400 Stonebrook Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75034, that was scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2020 has been canceled due to the COVID-19 virus. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in her honor to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 6400 Stonebrook Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75034.
