IN LOVING MEMORY

Mary Lou Miller

Mar 30 1958 - Jan 14 2026

Mary Lou Miller, age 67, Frisco, Texas passed away on January 14, 2026, in Plano, Texas. She was born on March 30, 1958, to Betty Sue (Mays) and Marvin David Dotson in Denton, Texas. On September 18, 1982, Mary married William “Bill” Alan Miller in Farmers Branch, Texas.

Mary was the sweetest and most caring woman who ever lived. But she had the ability to get sassy, especially when called Mary Lou. She spent her life as the peacemaker of her big family. As a sister, she was always there for her siblings and made sure they felt heard and supported. As an aunt, she never forgot to call on your birthday; her love for her family could not be denied.  The only thing she asked for in return was a simple request to paint her nails or to brush her hair. As a grandma, she would light up with her grandkids and loved them profoundly. As a wife, she was dedicated, loving, and supportive. As a mom, she was the best. To everyone she knew, she made you feel welcome, a part of the family, loved, cared for, and understood. She will be forever missed and always loved.

Mary is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bill Miller of Frisco, Texas; her daughter, Erinn Higginbotham and her husband, CJ of McKinney, Texas; her beloved dog, Precious; her two grandchildren, Cavin Higginbotham, Danny Higginbotham; her sister, Pat Carroll of Boyd, Texas; her nieces, Tonya Facteau, Tammy McCay and husband, Ray; her nephews, David Bryan and wife, Danielle, Jacky Brown and wife, Heather, Jeremy Brown and wife, Amber, Pokie Garvin, Joshua Garvin and numerous grand nieces and grand nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Betty Dotson; her sisters, Stella Norton, Betty Heberling; and her brother, Billy David Dotson.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Little Elm Cemetery, 16600 King Road, Frisco, Texas 75036, at 2:00 PM.
