Mary Kathryn (Hoenie) Moore, age 66, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on December 28, 1955, to Margaret (Volz) and Clifford Hoenie. Mary attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, and Clayton College of Natural Healing. She worked as an RN from 1976-1999 in Dayton, Ohio, and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mary did nutritional counseling for the last twenty years. She was a woman of very strong faith and was active in her church, Calvary Chapel North Texas in Frisco. Mary married Cy Anthony Moore in Dayton on August 28, 1976, and they were blessed with two sons. She enjoyed golfing, hiking, traveling, and loved her sisters and family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Cy Moore; her sons, Michael David Moore of Big Lake, Minnesota, and Brandon Anthony Moore and his wife, Kate, of Medina, Minnesota; her granddaughters, Chloe Moore and Noelle Moore; her sisters, Ann Norckauer (David), Carol Green (Jeff), Margaret Wilson (Mark), Jane Dockery (Jeff Amlin), Therese Hilker (Glenn), and Judy Silva (Robert); her brother, David Hoenie; and her family from God, Corey and Gina Marrero and their sons, Christian, Corbin and Caleb.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Margaret Hoenie.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in Frisco, Texas. The venue will be in Grand Ballrooms D&E at Frisco Lakes, 7277B Frisco Lakes Drive, Frisco, Texas 75036. The service will begin at approximately 11:45 a.m. with hospitality immediately after.
