Funeral services for Mary Evelyn Saye Havens, 90 year old Gunter resident, will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday September 19th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Mrs. Havens died September 17, 2008 at the Hilltop Haven Nursing Home at Gunter, Texas. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Havens was born February 8, 1918 at Blue Ridge, Texas. Her parents were Dexter Allen and Eula Elizabeth McKelvy Saye. She married Homer David Havens. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Bobby and Beverly Havens of Pottsboro, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Cathy Havens Hawkins, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
