Mary Esther D'Entremont

Mary Esther D'Entremont, a cherished resident of McKinney, Texas, passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on August 22, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas, to Henry Kilburn and Rosa Olivia (Myrick) Kilburn. Mary spent her formative years moving across the country, later graduating from James Monroe High School in California.

On October 28, 1972, Mary married Arthur David D'Entremont in Pikeville, Kentucky. Their marriage was a testament to their deep love and commitment to each other. Mary was enthusiastic about her artistic pursuits and found great joy in cooking and gardening. Her professional life was marked by a dedicated career in customer service within retail sales.

Mary was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 25, 1965, at Devonshire Downs in San Fernando Valley, California. Two years later, she moved to Clay County, Kentucky, where she volunteered 150 hours each month in her Christian ministry.

While raising a family, Mary continued to devote her time to helping others find answers to their questions using the Bible. In her later years, she volunteered on building projects alongside her husband. There she worked on tasks ranging from office work to food service, always willing to do whatever was needed. Her unwavering dedication to her beliefs, her generous spirit, and her hope in God’s promises were hallmarks of her character.

Mary is lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, caring mother, supportive sister, and cherished aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Art D’Entremont, of McKinney, Texas; children, David D’Entremont, and wife, Layla, of McKinney, Texas; and Esther D’Entremont, of Dallas, Texas; brother, Henry Kilburn, Jr., of Reno, Nevada; and sisters, Sandra Sigrimis, and husband, Spiros, of London, Kentucky; Shirley Savage, of Shelbiana, Kentucky; and Theresa Giese, and husband, Heiko, of Pikeville, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rosa Kilburn; brother, Tommy Kilburn; and brother, Wayne Kilburn.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
