Mary Estelle (Brunton) Collins of McKinney, Texas went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2019 at the age of 71 after a battle with cancer.  She was born on June 5, 1947 to Walter Alexander and Corinne Estelle (Casseday) Brunton in McKinney, Texas.  Mary married Larry Van Collins on December 26, 1981 in McKinney, Texas. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. Mary was a loving and caring person who took much joy in helping others. The last 17 years, Mary served as the Vital Statistic Supervisor over the McKinney and Plano offices. She served as the Local Registrar under the County Clerk and accomplished many goals including becoming a Certified Master Registrar.  As a result of Mary’s expertise and knowledge in Vital Statistics, clerks, funeral homes and other entities across the state would call her for guidance and direction.  Mary was a true public servant and loved working with the public.  She will truly be missed by those who knew her.
