Mary Ella (Bristow) Busby, age 79, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. She was born on September 15, 1942, in Frisco to Clara Frances (Cannon) and James Monroe Bristow. Mary worked as a cashier/restaurant worker. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Davis Busby, on October 13, 1962, in Lebanon Community and they were blessed with three children. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Mary is survived by her children, Mike Busby of Frisco, Blake Busby and his wife, Wendy, of Frisco, and Dee Duran and her husband, Daniel, of Stonewall, Oklahoma; her grandsons, Adam Watts, Jacob Watts, Acea Duran and Wesley Busby; her granddaughter, Brigette Haley Duran; her great-grandchildren, Zander Duran, Emeri Smith, Ava Duran, Trace Duran, Daisy Duran, Anna Duran, Kami Burris and Kinsley Burris; her sisters, Laverne Berghauser and husband, Hubert, Shirley Taylor and her husband, Larry; her brothers, Bobby Bristow and Glen Bristow and his wife, Patty; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Busby; her brother, James Ray Bristow; her aunts, May McEwin and Louise White; and her parents, Clara and James Bristow.
The family invites you to a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held here on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Phil Wohr. Interment follows at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas.
