Mary Earlene Griffin of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away May 26, 2018, at the age of 70. She was born March 21, 1948, to John Haden Standerfer, Jr. and Patsy (Allen) Standerfer in Denton, Texas. Mary married John Henry Griffin on June 3, 1966, in Frisco, Texas and together, they owned and worked a cattle ranch. She was an accountant for Craig International for twenty-five years.
Mary is survived by her husband, John Henry Griffin; daughters, Jennifer Graham and husband Greg and Amy Griffin all of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Dakota Graham, Tanner Graham, Makena Walden, Keylee Walden; sister, Barbara Bishop of Gilmer, Texas and husband Charlie; brother, Johnny Standerfer and wife Roxie of Prosper, Texas and loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Earl Standerfer and Rosalyn Caldwell.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment is to follow at Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
