Mary Nadine Ashley

June 15, 1928 - October 21, 2006

Mary Nadine Ashley (Mommy Two), age 78, of McKinney, Texas went home to be with her Lord and family on October, 21, 2006, after a long and courageous battle with mylofibrosis. She was born June 15, 1928, in Greenville, Texas to Freddie and Alta (Herring) Jones. On September 30, 1944 she married Eddie Ashley in New Orleans, Louisiana. Nadine was a homemaker and member of the Waddill Street Baptist Church. For several years she worked at the Action Company. She is survived by her son Tommy Ashley of Plano, TX; daughters Nancy Kruse and her husband Jacky of McKinney, Sara Young of Anna, TX and Sharon Butler of McKinney; grandchildren Jeff, Chris, and Brian Kruse, Bill Young, Jenny Miller, Brad and Blake Butler; great-grandchildren Jacob, Kevin and Harley Butler, Maddison, Emma, and Trevor Kruse, Emily and Kaylee Miller and Ashley Young; sister Joan Harness of Sulphur Springs, TX; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband Eddie. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 24, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Randy Moreland officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Monday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
