Mary Ann Porterfield of Fairview, Texas passed away February 19, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born on March 12, 1935 to J. F. Stephenson and Alameda (McMackin) Stephenson in Archer City, Texas. Mary married the late Douglas Lee Porterfield on August 15, 1953 in Gainesville, Texas and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage before his passing. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Debbie Schwartz and husband, Robert Schwartz of Dallas, Texas; sons, Randy Porterfield of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Kelly Porterfield and his godson, Melvin Brown of Fairview, Texas; granddaughters, Shelley Robertson and partner, Sid Huckabee of Dallas, Texas and Chantel Womack of Ardmore, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Jadyn, Madison, and Landon of Ardmore, Oklahoma; great-great-children, Ryland and Navi of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Porterfield; parents, J. F. and Almeda Stephenson; and sisters, Helen Stewart and Charlene Stanley.
