Mary Ann Hutchings (nee Johnson) age 92, of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 18, 2021. She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Richard, her son Gary (Cyndi) of Sachse, Texas and daughter Christy Powers (Gordon) of Rockford, Minnesota. Known as Nana and Gigi-ma, she also leaves behind her grandchildren, Crystal Hulkewicz (Steve), Jeff Hutchings (Sarah), Jason Hutchings (Paige), Nick Powers (Cassidy), and Max Powers and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Josey, Angie, Hannah, and Morgan.
Born in Oak Grove, Missouri on August 4, 1928, Mary Ann had so many friends that will miss her sweet demeaner. Mary Ann and Richard met at Sunday school and were married on April 28, 1950. They lived, worked, played and raised their children in Florida, Missouri, and Minnesota before finally moving to Texas where they have resided for the last 20 years. Mary Ann was very social and made friends wherever she went, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She loved to play cards, sew, and craft and was an active member of P.E.O. for most of her adult life.
Preceded in death by both her parents, C.T. and Alice Johnson; siblings, Roger and Alice Jeane; and beloved daughter, Jana Sue.

Mary Ann will be laid to rest at the Blue Springs Cemetery on SW Cemetery Road and SW Walnut St. in Blue Springs, Missouri. The family will hold a grave-side service on January 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm. The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life at Hidden Springs of McKinney in McKinney, Texas, where she lived her last days, on a date in the future when it is safe again for her friends and family to gather.
