Mary Ann Davis, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on December 22, 2025. She was born on October 30, 1943, in Buffalo, New York, to William Birch Harris II and Mary Kloiber.
Mary Ann was united in marriage to Johnny Henry Davis Jr. on December 19, 1964, in College Station, Texas. Together they shared many years of love and devotion. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Richardson, where she found comfort in her faith and community.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Tammy Suzanne Sigman of Allen, Texas; her son, Johnny Henry Davis III of Carrollton, Texas; her grandchildren, Mary Lynn Bogs of Plano, Texas, and Heather Christine Sherman of Denver, Colorado; and her great-grandchildren, Kaden Sigman, Scarlet Sigman, and James Sigman.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny Henry Davis Jr.; her grandsons, Hunter Michael Sigman and Johnny Henry Davis IV; and her brother, William Birch Harris III.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Sam Houston State University and started her career in education as a teacher for many years. She later became a successful business owner in insurance and was a respected leader in her business circles. Mary Ann was a former board member for the Dallas Summer Musical Guild. She was a longstanding member and held various positions of service within the Order of the Eastern Star. Her life was one filled with giving of herself and helping others through philanthropic endeavors and organizations.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering faith. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
