Mary Ann Campbell of Garland, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born on December 8, 1940, in Long Beach, California, to Edmond William and Lydia (Dornbush) Sheeran. Mary was a person of deep faith, love, and compassion, and she dedicated much of her life to serving others.

Mary married the love of her life, James Roger Campbell, and together they raised two children, creating a warm and loving family. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and her kindness, wisdom, and guidance will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Mary played an active role in the community as part of the Minister of hospitality, always ready to greet newcomers with a smile and open arms. Her faith and commitment to her church were central to her life.

In addition to her involvement at St. Joseph's, Mary was a valued member of the Richardson Women’s Club, where she forged lasting friendships and worked to make her community a better place. She enjoyed many years of camaraderie and service alongside her fellow club members.

Mary's professional life as a public-school teacher was a great source of pride. She loved her work, shaping young minds and encouraging her students to reach their full potential. The impact she made on her students’ lives was profound, and her legacy as a teacher will live on in the hearts of those she taught.

She is survived by her husband Jim Campbell; daughter, Kathleen Blahitka; son, Steve Campbell; granddaughter, Leeann Blahitka; granddaughter, Lauren Blahitka; granddaughter, Allison Blahitka; granddaughter, Sarah Campbell; granddaughter, Kayla Campbell; sister, Kathy Green and husband, John. And a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 14, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 600 Jupiter Road, Richardson, Texas 75081.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
