Mrs. Mary Alice (Haynes) Keith, age 95, of Prosper, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2018, in Lewisville, Texas. She was born on January 3, 1923, in Hebron, Texas, to William M. and Bessie B. (Davis) Haynes. Mary was a graduate of Lewisville High School. For many years she was employed at Prosper State Bank and retired as a Purchasing Agent for Collin Memorial Hospital in McKinney, Texas. She married Joe Dodd Keith on July 25, 1948. They spent many happy years together at their home on Coleman Street in Prosper. Mary was a member of the High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney, Texas, and loved her church family very much. All little children were drawn to her and her beautiful smile was a blessing to so many.
Mary is survived by her nieces, Shirley White and Mary Jo Parvin; nephews, Billy McGee and Charles Haynes; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews; friend and caregiver, Violet Neighbors.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Keith, her parents, four brothers: Ray, Woodrow, Clifford and Joe Robert Haynes, and one sister, Edith McGee.
The service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at High Pointe Church of Christ Chapel, 3201 N. Central Expressway, McKinney, Texas 75071 with Bill James officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Donald Vest, Craig McGee, Kyle McGee, Brent McGee, Lance White, Jordan White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill McGee and Charles (Bud) Haynes.
