Marvin Lee Bunch, age 89, of Celina, Texas passed away on November 27, 2018. He was born on November 23, 1929 to William Bryant and Lela Mae (Brown) Bunch in Celina, Texas. Marvin was a veteran of the United States Army, a retired rural mail carrier, and proudly served the City of Celina as a volunteer firefighter from 1960 to 1985.
Marvin is survived by his daughter, Linda Rogers of McKinney, Texas; granddaughters, Lauren Taylor Smith and husband, Ryan of San Antonio, Texas, and Regan Lillian Rogers of McKinney, Texas; his special love, Marjorie “Punkin” Kelly of Celina, Texas; and nieces, Judy Creech and husband, Charles of Mesquite, Texas, and Vicki Bunch of Mesquite, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Junelle Bunch; second wife, Jimmie Perkins Bunch; son, Rodney Lee Bunch; and brother, Otis Bunch.
A visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church of Celina, 12465 FM 428, Celina, Texas 75009, on Friday, November 30, 2018 beginning at 1:00 PM. A funeral service, following the visitation, will be held at the church beginning at 2:00 PM followed by a private interment.
