Marshall Wayne Mankin, age 46, of Frisco, Texas passed away on March 12, 2016. He was born on November 24, 1969 in Dallas, Texas to Wanda June (Byrom) Mankin and Rayburn Ottis Mankin. Wayne grew up in The Colony and was in the 1st graduation class at The Colony High School in 1988. He worked for the City of Coppell for the Parks and Recreation Department. Wayne enjoyed video games, Star-Wars and specially his 6 cats.
Wayne is survived by his parents, Ray Mankin and his wife, Soozie of Dallas, Texas and June Mankin of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Julie Trujillo of Fort Worth, Texas and Stacey Lankford and her husband, Marcus of Ferris, Texas; three brothers, Tim Mankin and his wife, Lorena of Dallas, Texas, Adam Mankin of Dallas, Texas and Alan Mankin and his wife, Emily of Van, Texas; girlfriend, Debbie Purdin of Frisco, Texas; several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
