Mark Robert Peeples of Allen, Texas, passed away April 15, 2021 at the age of 60.  He was born September 26, 1960 to Priscilla (Pierce) Peeples and Bob Peeples in Lubbock, Texas. Mark’s formative years were spent in Lubbock, the DFW area, and El Paso, Texas. After high school, Mark moved to Austin, Texas, then New York City, and later to San Francisco, California. In San Francisco, Mark worked at Hamburger Mary’s for more than a decade as a server, bartender, and finally manager. He made many friends along the way who loved him, especially his sense of humor. He later admitted San Francisco always felt like home to him.

Mark loved animals and over the years adopted rescue cats and dogs, most notably Dusty, a lab mix dog, and finally Hank, another lab/pit mix. He was a compassionate pet owner. Mark was also adept at technology and could help us out when we had questions about how to do something with the computer. He was interested in photography and took many pictures along the way. He loved great music and had attended too many live concerts and music venues to count.

Mark is survived by his father, Bob Peeples; stepmother, Vicki Peeples; brother, Matt Peeples; Matt’s partner, Dale Boehne and his stepbrother, Greg Cumbie.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. (CST), Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow funeral home in Allen, Texas.
