Mark touched the lives of seemingly everyone he met with his genuine curiosity about others, sense of humor and an endless supply of sage advice. Thank you for helping us celebrate and honor Mark’s life of service to his family, patients, friends, colleagues and community.

Mark had many passions in his life, chief of which were his wife Kim and three kids, Avery, Jack and Reed.  His face could always be seen at school functions and he was active in all of their extracurricular activities, whether it was as coach, videographer or just cheering for the team.

He loved to share his hobbies and interests with his family and everyone else in his life.  He was an aspiring chef, avid photographer, technologist and collector of many things.  Mark loved music and laughter and one or both could always be heard whenever you were with him.

Mark graduated from Brown University where he majored in Philosophy. He then attended medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine and graduated with honors. Mark went on to perform his internship in general surgery at the University of Hawaii, Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
