IN LOVING MEMORY

Mark A. Springer

Mar 07 1964 - Aug 29 2022

Mark A. Springer, age 58, of Prosper, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on August 29, 2022, in McKinney, Texas, after a fiercely fought nine month battle with metastatic cancer. He was born on March 7, 1964, to Janet (Grotrian) and Neil Springer in Springfield, Ohio. He grew up in Wheaton, Illinois, and graduated from Indiana University in 1986 with his bachelor’s degree in Accounting. On May 24, 1997, Mark married the love of his life Julie Mistro in Dyer, Indiana. Together they had three children - Haley, Hannah and Hunter - who were Mark’s pride and joy. Mark enjoyed a long accounting career that ranged from Junior Cost Accountant to Chief Financial Officer at various companies across 10 states and Canada. He cherished his relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues and was the source of many laughs and the life of many parties. He was full of useless trivia, loved a good debate, and was a closet game show addict. Mark was a member of the TCU Frog Club and a TCU football season ticket holder as he was very proud that all three of his children attended Texas Christian University. He had a strong Christian faith and was a member of Hope Fellowship Church in Prosper.

Mark is survived by his wife of 25 years, Julie Springer of Prosper, Texas; his daughter Haley Springer and her fiancé, Scott Christopherson; his daughter Hannah Springer; his son, Hunter Springer; his parents, Janet and Neil Springer, and sisters, Kelly Gilligan (Steve) and Sheri Baumgartner (Jay) of Naperville, Illinois; and numerous other family and friends.
