Marilyn Davis Pitcher of Keller, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 31, 2022 at the age of 74. She was born on December 11, 1947 to William Duncan and Joyce (Pullin) Davis in Graham, Texas. Marilyn grew up in Waco, Texas where graduated from Richland High School in Waco and went on to receive her Bachelor’s in Education from Baylor University. Following graduation, she married her truest love, Charles Michael Pitcher. They started their family with the arrival of their daughter, Elisa and added son, Charles a short time later. Marilyn was a professional educator and taught in the classroom over the course of a 25 year career. Marilyn was an incredible mother and wife, and beloved grandmother in the later part of life. She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren. Marilyn was loved by all who knew her, and she fiercely returned that love without bounds. Marilyn was a devoted Christian who was very active with her church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Elisa Rossi and husband, James of Fort Worth, Texas and Charles Pitcher and wife, Nicole of Roanoke, Texas; grandchildren, James Michael Rossi, Jaden Meyer, Nicholas Rossi, and Emily Pitcher; brother, Craig Davis and wife, Amy of Tolar, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Michael Pitcher; parents; and sister, Betty Ann Davis.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
