Marietta “Bambi” Wolf of Allen, Texas passed away on November 12, 2016 at the age of 55. She was born on January 6, 1961 to Frank and Purificacion Morales in Manila, Philippines. The youngest of ten children, she was beloved by her family. She developed many lifetime friendships at St. Theresa’s College, which she attended from kindergarten through her junior year. Interested in traveling and living abroad, she was an exchange student at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, where she continued her studies in ballet and piano. She returned to the Philippines to earn her undergraduate degree in Economics. An interest in International Business Studies brought her to South Carolina for a Masters degree. She began her professional career with GTE in Dallas, Texas, where she met her future husband, John Wolf. They were married on February 6, 1988 in Spring Branch, Texas. Devoted to her three children, she postponed her career to care for them. She returned to work and was a Director of Financial Analysis for AT&T. Her many friends know her for her generous love, love of travel, and superb skills in the kitchen.
Marietta is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, John Wolf of Allen, Texas; sons, Justin Wolf of Baytown, Texas, Blake Wolf of Minneapolis, Minnesota; daughter, Emilia Wolf of Austin, Texas; mother, Purificacion Morales; siblings, Emmie Del Mundo, Winnie Zarate, Bunny Fernholz, Evelyn Del Rosario, Flo Workman, Virginia Hausherr, Melba Suazo, Linda Morales, Bob Morales; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas.
