Marie Louise Hamilton, age 80, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 28, 2006 in McKinney. She was born August 24, 1926 in McKinney, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Collin County and graduate of Boyd High School. Marie was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of McKinney where she was a member of the choir and women’s chorus, a member of the clown ministry, and a member of Lora Ryan Sunday School Class. She was a poet and author of “Get To Know Our Hymns” that was published weekly in the church newsletter. She is survived by her friends and family at First United Methodist Church and her beloved cat, Pansy. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at First United Methodist Church of McKinney, Texas, with Rev. John Allen officiating. She will lie in state Tuesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of McKinney in her name.
