Marie Ann Augusta Peri, age 84, of Allen, Texas, passed away September 24, 2017. Marie was born July 21, 1933, in Floral Park, New York, to Bartholomew and Marie (Korn) Newsam. She married Anthony Michael Peri on May 5, 1962, at Saint Fidelis Catholic Church in New York, New York. Marie worked for over thirty years as a credit manager in accounts receivable and retired from Trinity Industries.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Peri and wife, Anne of Allen, Texas; daughter, Annette Mica and husband, Carl of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Joseph Peri Cole, Michael Nathan Cole, and Alden Marie Peri; great-granddaughter, Addilyn Marie Cole; sisters, June LaPadura of New York and Carol Murolo and husband, Tom of Leesburg, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plano, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, September 29, 2017, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
