Marian Joyce Brunner, age 81, of Plano, Texas, passed away on January 5, 2018. She was born November 30, 1936, to Glenn and Opal (Herbin) Myers in Bloomington, Indiana. On July 7, 1956, Marian married Rosswell Brunner in Mercer, Wisconsin. She was a wonderful pastor’s wife, mother and grandmother. Marian was a member of The Lonestar Cowboy Church in Hunt County, Texas as well as a member of the Kiwanis Clubs, in Allen and Bullard, for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Rosswell Brunner of Plano, Texas; children, Daniel Brunner and wife Debbie of Lexington, Texas, Jonathan Brunner and wife Christy of Henderson, Texas, Liz Schaap and husband Rick of Plano, Texas, Pauline Robinson and husband Brian of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Opal Myers.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2017 at Richardson Church of the Nazarene, 2101 Renner Road, Richardson, Texas 75082. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening, January 7, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013.
