Maria Louisa (Yougas) Sanchez of McKinney, Texas passed away on July 29, 2020 at the age of 95. She was born on June 4, 1925 to Alonzo Yougas and Maria (Pequeno) Yougas in McKinney, Texas. Maria married Daniel Sanchez on November 9, 1946. She was a seamstress for Haggar Slacks for 30 years.

Maria is survived by her sons, Daniel Sanchez, Jr. and wife, Angela of McKinney, Texas and John L. Sanchez and wife, Kitty of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Kathleen and Kevin Sanchez and Jacob Lewis Gonzales and wife, Lillian; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Sanchez; 4 sisters; 1 brother and her parents.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A funeral service and a rosary will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Maria’s obituary page.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Maria and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
