Maria Estela Arzola of McKinney, Texas passed away on August 5, 2020 at the age of 64. She was born on March 9, 1956 to Ernesto and Delia (Gomez) Armijo in Edinburg, Texas. Maria married Francisco Arzola, Sr. in 1975.  She loved cooking and baking banana nut bread and her famous sugar cookies.  Maria enjoyed listening to music as well as crossword puzzles.  She was a very loving person and loved her whole family.  Maria did everything she could to take care of her family and made sure they knew how much she loved them.

Maria is survived by her son, Francisco Arzola, Jr. of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Leticia Jimenez and husband, Gonzalo of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Myriam “Mia” Arzola of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Gianluca Jimenez of McKinney, Texas; brothers, Ruben Armijo and Ernesto Armijo, Jr. both of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Angelita Carmona, Raquel Armijo, and Juanita Reyna all of McKinney, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto and Delia Armijo; brothers, Isadore Armijo, Daniel Armijo, and George Armijo.  Shortly after her passing, she was joined by her husband, Francisco and brother, Ruben.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Francisco’s obituary page.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Francisco and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
