Marguerite Belle Camp

Marguerite Belle Camp passed away peacefully at the age of 101 at her home in Farmersville, Texas. She was born on July 3, 1919 in New Bloomfield, Missouri to Marvin E. Farmer and Gertrude Belle Wheeler.

Marguerite Camp was full of life until her final days. She had a beautifully unique way of looking at the world with an unmatched optimism. Marguerite was a life long learner, teacher, and philosopher. She was a professor at Dallas County Community College and Collin County Community College.  She married her husband, Horace B. Camp, in Devol, Oklahoma on August 16th 1968.

Marguerite is survived by her step- children; Ann McGrath, Connie Phillis and Brit Camp; nieces, Susan Eames, Beth Skaggs- Ryan, Jessica DeVreeze, Gwynn Edmonton, Jenny Skaggs, Martha Brett and Sharon Cheek; nephews; Steve Skaggs, David Skaggs, Sam Skaggs, Alex DeVreeze and Daniel Ryan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Horrace B. Camp, her sister, Geraldine Skaggs, her brother, Robert “Bob” Farmer and her niece, Trudi Claire DeVreeze.
