Margarett Hart passed away March 26, 2024 in Allen, TX at the age of 83 surrounded by the loving arms of her family. Donna Margarett Hart Was born December 26, 1941 in Garland, Texas to Joseph Virgil Hart and Donna (McMillan)Hart Garland, Texas.

She attended Lovejoy Elementary School, graduating McKinney High School in 1960. In 1964 she graduated from TA&M-Corpus Christ (UCC) with a degree in Business. In 1975, Margarett married the love of her life, John Valle, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked at Chrysler Boat Corporation for 15 years and was the first female Manager at Chrysler Boat. Margarett and John loved to travel to such places as Russia, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, England, S. Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Mexico and many other places.

Following their travels, she and John started Lucas Plants in Lucas, Texas. For several years they sold plants at Weatherford, McKinney, and Whitewright flea markets where she was known as the "Plant Lady". They made many friends at the markets. In 1987, Margarett was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease (PD). At first it wasn't too severe but with the ups and downs with PD she decided to have Deep Brain Surgery. This gave her a chance at a better life span.

Margarett is survived by beloved husband, John Valle of McKinney Texas; sister, Wanda Murphy of Trenton, Texas; nieces, Pamela Howell, Karen Hart Mahurin, and Mary Chenoe Hart; nephews, Joe Wills Hart and Virgil Dale Murphy; many loving and supportive, Valle nieces and nephews, other family members and cherished friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joesph Virgil and Donna Roma (McMillan) Hart; brother, Joseph Wesley Hart and nephew, Lonnie Glenn Murphy.

The family will receive friends during a visitation Friday evening, March 29, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Fitzhugh (Forest Grove) Cemetery, 2540 Country Club Road, Lucas, Texas 75002.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either the Parkinson's Foundation or St. Jude Hospital.
