Margaret Davis of Climax, Texas passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 62. She was born on September 16, 1958 to Billy Wayne and Wanda Erline (Pierce) Edwards in Henrietta, Texas. Margaret was a devoted wife and mother, and her children were the truest joy of her life: she loved being their mom. She was a great mother and very active in her kids’ lives. Margaret loved her family, and she took every opportunity to spend time with them and show them just how much she loved them. Her shoes will be impossible to fill. Margaret loved riding horses, and she found freedom and peace in riding all over the countryside. Recently, she traded one form of horsepower for another, and enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband. Margaret worked for Sunnyvale Independent School District for 15 years and retired as the business manager in 2020.
She is survived by her husband, David Davis of Climax, Texas; daughter, Kristen Davis of Anna, Texas; son, Joshua Davis of Anna, Texas; mother, Wanda Pierce, Verona, Texas; sister, Billie Rae Roach and husband, Kenny of Denison, Texas; brother, Kenny Pierce and wife, Karin of Farmersville, Texas; brother, Steve Pierce and wife, Paula of Farmersville, Texas; mother-in-law, Betty Davis of Climax, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Billy W. Pierce and father-in-law, Aaron Davis.
