IN LOVING MEMORY

Margaret Ann Brockman

Jan 28 1944 - Jan 27 2022

Margaret Ann Hopper Brockman was called home on January 27, 2022 just hours shy of her 78th birthday. Her family grieves her passing with heavy hearts but takes great comfort in knowing she is no longer burdened with pain and that Margaret is rejoicing in Heaven today.

Margaret was born January 28, 1944 to Oscar Hopper and Donnie Harrison Hopper. She was 1 of 10 children. On August 28, 1959 she married the love of her life, Charles Wayne Brockman. Margaret and Charles were married 62 years.

Sister, Martha Guin and husband Al of Melissa, Brothers Billy Hopper and wife Rebecca of Blue Ridge, and Jerry Hopper of LeFlore, Oklahoma. Sister in law Barbara Francis and husband Keith of McKinney.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Oscar & Donnie Hopper, her sisters Opal, Juanita, Georgia, Laverne and her brothers J. C., Jim, and Howard Hopper.

For those of us who had the privilege to know Margaret, we were blessed. As best stated by Margaret's niece RaeNell, she was strong, talented and just a joy to be around.

Margaret was also a great poet and a published author. She deeply cared not only for her family but for those around her and it was evident by her actions. She had a love for missions and mission work and her true passion was sharing her faith with those she came in contact with in her daily life. She radiated her walk with Christ and her desire to make sure others had a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior.

As she held us all in her heart she will live on in a special place in our hearts forever.

Margaret lived 2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight,

I have finished the race,

I have kept the faith.

For such a long and difficult road she has traveled these past few months, we rejoice that she has made her final destination to be with Jesus in Heaven. Our family rejoices in knowing that we will all see her again one day by trusting in Him and believing in God's word as she instilled in all of us.

A visitation will be held at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home as a come and go visit on Monday, January 31, 2022. The graveside service will be held at Verona Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Texas at 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
