Mrs. Margaret Whitson, age 83, of Plano, Texas passed away July 16, 2006, in Plano. She was born October 22, 1922, in Peoria, Texas to Homan and Lela Pearl Young Reed. On August 5, 1941, she married Sam Adkins Whitson. Mrs. Whitson was a Real Estate Agent. She is survived by her daughter, Jill Kurtz and her husband, Mark of Plano, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Whitson; son, William Robert Whitson; and brother, Homan Young Reed, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, (310) 831-0311.
