Mrs. Margaret Kohlhass Denissen, age 81, of McKinney, Texas, passed away Monday, October 30, 2006, in Dallas, Texas. Margaret was born in Duluth, Minn. on September 14, 1925 to parents Clayton and Margaret (Chisholm) Kohlhaas. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan and worked as a school teacher. Margaret married Mark J. Denissen in London, England, in 1956. She was a 35 year member of First Presbyterian Church of Granada Hills, California. She loved music and singing in the choir. She is survived by her sons; John Denissen of Venice Beach, California, Mark Denissen and wife Debbie of McKinney, Texas; Grandchildren, James and Christina Denissen; brothers, John Kohlhaas of Duluth, Minn., Tony Kohlhaas of Ponte Verde Beach, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 2nd at First United Methodist Church of McKinney with Rev. John Allen officiating.
